The 15-member Board of Directors of Families of Flight 93 is an Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to assist and support the development and management of the memorial.

Ed Root is the President of Families of Flight 93, Inc.

Flight 93 Federal Advisory Commission
The 15-member Flight 93 Federal Advisory Commission is a federally appointed body charged with making recommendations for the planning, design, construction and management of the national memorial to the Secretary of the Interior and Congress.

John Reynolds is the Chair of the Flight 93 Federal Adivsory Commission.

Flight 93 Memorial Task Force
An 80-member grassroots organization comprised of family members, community residents, first responders, educators, and other local, regional, and national participants providing a voice for all interested and concerned parties.

Patrick White and Judge Kim Gibson are Co-Chairs of the Flight 93 Memorial Task Force.

National Park Service
The National Park Service was designated by the Flight 93 Memorial Act to be the long-term stewards of the Flight 93 National Memorial as a unit of the National Park System. The NPS is involved in all aspects of the planning and development of the Memorial.

Joanne Hanley is the Superintendent of the Flight 93 National Memorial.

National Park Foundation
The National Park Foundation is a 501(c) (3) dedicated to raising private financial support for the development and improvement of the National Park System. The Foundation will establish restricted accounts for the Flight 93 National Memorial project, will have fiduciary responsibility, and will act as the consolidated repository for privately donated funds.

Vin Cipolla is the President and CEO of the National Park Foundation.
